my little artist...

loves to play with paint, markers and anything that makes a masterpiece. This is the aftermath of some fun at school (daycare) on Friday. Love that they take pictures (on their cell phones) for us and let them go to town with something oh so fun and oh so messy! Way to go my little creative one.

with grammie on tues. for valentines. Carson had a great time and so did grammie. Love the shots and will be hard to choose which one...sigh. Kirsten from Fresh Focus Children's Photography is really amazing and hope to meet her in person someday for another photoshoot...maybe for Carson's 1 year birthday. new year! Been trying to post here for the last couple of days and haven't had much luck...wonder if blogger has many users that have resolutions to post more thus the busy activity and being unable to post. Hoping this one works. Had a great time at Disney for New Year's Day...actually went to California Adventure. Will go to Disney next time since we bought annual passes. I know Carson won't remember it but he did have fun looking at everything and enjoyed being with our friends children too! Went on Heimlich's Chew Chew Train for his first ride. What a cute ride...in a cute little area called Flik's Fun Fair. Looking forward to what 2008 has to bring and seeing Carson grow and laugh and smile....xoxo

mentioned in an earlier post this month that we took Carson to one of my favorite little boutiques as they offered a photo shoot for wee ones (sitting fee was complimentary). Well..I really liked all of the photos and asked if we could buy all of the photos on a CD...and the rest is history...so here are just a few. Loved Alex...you can see more of her work here! christmas! Is it already here? Hard to believe that we are celebrating Carson's first Christmas today. He's sleeping and we will open gifts when he wakes up. Speaking of sleeping...that's what he did when we took him to see Santa...and what a great santa he was...didn't even prompt santa to make the "shhh...baby sleeping" sound and pose. Love it. Will cherish this one forever...my sweet, sweet baby boy! Hope you have as happy of a Christmas as Carson's mommy and daddy will have today! xoxo

uneventful weekend...

for most but for a new mommy of course every moment seems unforgettable. Did go to one of my favorite children's boutique for a complimentary photoshoot. Excited to see what will come out of the fun times we had with Carson through the lens of this photographer. On the way there, he fell asleep and I caught the photo above....not the best photo but one that melts my heart to know that it wasn't a planned photo just one that I wanted since my sweet boy decided to put his hand in mommy's before drifting off for a little nap. be still my heart!

notes for mommy-
at 4 months and 3/4 he is 15 lbs. 11 oz.
on 12/6 grammie discovered his first teeth poking through...daddy calls them his little "pokers"
enjoys his walker...scoots backwards
love seeing how ticklish he is...which creates some fun belly laughs

3 weeks...

amazing to me that this little one is 3 weeks already. I'm sure I'll be saying the same thing when he is 3 years old. Here are just a few shots from this last week. You can see a ton more on my mom's blog...she's much quicker than I. :-) I can't get enough of this sweet baby and think we are so lucky to have him...such a good baby. Planning a little outing today to go and buy a sling to carry him around with me...nothing sweeter than hving him close to me...and his daddy too! have a great weekend! xoxo

is oh so good! We have such a sweet, precious baby! Don't you just love that beautiful handcrafted blankie made by our talented, wonderful friend, Miss Tia Bennett? We are so thankful to have such a treasure...the blankie and Tia! There are so many reasons why i love life! xoxo

we are so in love with our precious son Carson. Have been enjoying and savoring every moment. I am hoping to post some more photos soon. Grammie Sue has been great at posting photos if you'd like an update before I get a chance to load photos from my camera....until then I'll be changing diapers, feeding or just snuggling and loving our sweet sonshine. xoxo

tomorrow...

is our due date and trying to take it easy but not laying in bed. Went to a feel good movie and lunch with my mom yesterday. Last little hoorah with mom and daughter...thanks mom...such a special time. Just want to soak it all in...have loved being pregnant and feeling all the movements and hiccups. Baby boy's daddy and mommy are so excited to celebrate his birthday in the next couple/few days. Who knows when he will make his debut. Going to meet miss yindi today...so excited. xoxo

tick tock...

time is ticking by...have received e-mails asking if any action for baby boy yet and wanted to let you know that we are waiting very patiently. Room is ready (will have to get pictures to share of the room), mommy and daddy are ready too...and i think the friends and family are definitely ready for the big debut. Will have my mom or hubby post on the blog when he does arrive. xoxo

one week...

from tomorrow is our due date. Room is pretty much done and he is "in place" ready to go. Feeling good luckily...trying to keep my feet up to avoid swelling from the heat. Will have to take some more pictures of his room...kinda wanted to do that once he's in it...but we'll see. Here is a picture my mom took yesterday while she was here helping me hang the mobile and doing some other finishing touches. Have a great weekend and hope you all don't melt. xoxo

and still feeling good at 38 weeks...luckily. My mom came out yesterday and drove me to La Jolla to PB Kids. Had a nice morning and lunch with her...always do. Hope I'm as good of a mommy as she is! Guess we will find out soon enough. xoxo
