viva las vegas...

after having a great time at the Henkel's house for Thanksgiving, we drove to Vegas to spend the weekend. LOVE was definitely the highlight of the weekend. Loved every single moment of it and wish I could've stayed for the next show...it was soooooo good...worth every penny! Loved the colors, props, costumes, dancing, tricks and even the chairs you sit in. Can you tell I really liked it? You can see the trailer HERE. under the sea...

Really enjoyed the aquarium of the pacific with dave yesterday! The jellyfish were beautiful. It's amazing that something so poisonous can be so pretty. Can't wait to go back! Happy Turkey week! Yeah! It's a short work week! xoxo

the "loot".

such a fun day today with my hubby today. Was nice since he hasn't been home 2 weekends in a row...and was gone since Thursday and came home last night. We went to the Carson Rubber Stamp show. It's one of my favorites...can't wait to go next year and take my mom! One of the booth ladies handed me my bag and said, "enjoy your loot!" I will be sure to do just that! That was the same booth that I bought the "smalls". A while ago I ran across this...and thought it was really fun...thought we would do the same thing. Then we took the scenic route home. Wonder where the "smalls" will go next weekend! xoxo

one of my favorite...

stores of all time...love Paper Source and was so excited to hear they were opening one only 45 min. from me instead of 2 hours. Guess who was the lucky first customer to walk in door today for the grand opening at the new Paper Source in Costa Mesa? Coulda spend the whole day there...and lots more $...but tried to refrain. Totally inspired to create something every day! xoxo

Marie Antoinette...

has anyone seen this movie? If so, what did you think? Debating about catching a movie this weekend and really want to see Nightmare in 3D (one of my favorites is the original) and may see this Marie Antoinette one too...we'll see...just wanted your opinion. Thanks! xoxo

went to Disneyland and California Adventure...who would've known that it would be so crowded. yikes! Oh well...was fun anyway. Love all the punkins, halloween decorations and pirates...arrgg....! xoxo

new album...

finally bought a new album...my old one was busting at the seams. Love these scrapworks albums with 3 rings...so much easier than the others. Now if someone would design a 12 X 12 album that would house all my pages that have goodies that extend over the page...just a bigger page protector would work...end up cutting all mine open to fit the pages...oh well...maybe someday. so now on to my next project...organizing all my magazine clippings that I've saved for years...bound and determined to get more organized. xoxo

palm springs...

just a few photos from last weeks palm springs trip. We have been going for a mini vacation there for over 10 years for my birthday and always look forward to it! Soaking up the sun and relaxing with our friends...what could be better? Kinda felt out of place when we went downtown and there was a motorcyle rally going on...so many lights and leather! What a combination! This year we decided to check out the Living Desert and we were pleasantly surprised. Loved the giraffes and the model train exhibit! Off to celebrate my mom-in-laws birthday today! Hope you all have a great weekend! xoxo

and more apples! Went to Oak Glen today with friends! Had a great time and delish food! Came home with apple pie, apple cider, apple butter, raspberry syrup (for the apple pie) and apple cinnamon honey and some apples, of course! Good thing dave and i both like them! Can't wait to go back! xoxo
